We are looking for IT Network Architect to join Global Software Asset Management team based in our Boadilla del Monte office with at least 3 years of experience as Communications Architect with main focus in WAN and DC data networking

Your role
As an IT Network Architect your mission will be to evaluate technology, market trends and industry plus identify prospective impact on business by analyzing system requirements, recommending alternative technologies/improvements, leading the design and review of new systems, planning integration and evaluating projects.
Your main tasks will be:
- Help define the future of the IT strategy by aligning the trends in communications systems within the overall infrastructure ecosystem.
- Participate in the analysis, definition, elaboration, communication and maintenance of communications related standards, processes and integration of multivendor platforms.
- Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions.
- Take an active part in promoting internal collaboration, knowledge sharing and fluent relationship within the global communications community across Santander Group worldwide.
- Drive short long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments.
- Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
What youll bring

- Virtual networks (SDN, SDWAN), tools and technical components.
- DC and WAN data networks.
- EVPN/BGP/VXLAN/Load Balancer/Firewall.
- Network monitoring and performance.
- English B2.
- Knowledge of infrastructure components (storage, compute, virtualization, resiliency, security,...)
The following would also be great...
- Experience in complex and multi local enterprises.
- TOGAF.
- Communication Skills.
