Test Manager QA TESTER
Location: Hybrid Barcelona (Minimum 1 day per week onsite in PobleNou or Sant Martí)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Lead to join a major project with one of Europe s top
insurance companies. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact with the end client and
manage a team of 5 6 automation engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role, with approximately 75
of responsibilities focused on test automation and 25 on team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate a multicultural team of automation testers.
Communicate effectively with the end client in English (spoken and written).
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
Create, execute, and manage automated test scripts and datasets.
Continuously improve the test automation strategy and infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with DevOps teams and CI/CD pipelines.
Track defects and manage bugs using industry tools.
Provide regular updates and feedback to stakeholders.
Required Skills Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in automation leadership roles.
Proven experience with Selenium (Java), mobile automation, REST Assured, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD
tools.
Strong knowledge in framework creation, automated testing practices, and scripting.
Fluent in English (spoken and written) daily communication in English is required.
Experience with team management, including planning and performance oversight.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ALM, Postman, and additional scripting languages or
automation frameworks.
Knowledge of test strategies and defect tracking methodologies.
Experience in mobile and web automation testing.
