SAP System Administration
Manage and maintain SAP systems including installation configuration and upgrades.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to optimize SAP landscapes.
User and Security Administration
Administer user accounts authorizations and profiles to ensure secure and controlled access to SAP systems.
Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for SAP environments.
Database Management
Perform database administration tasks including backup and recovery performance tuning and capacity planning.
Collaborate with database administrators to ensure the integrity and reliability of SAP databases.
Transport Management
Handle the transport management system (TMS) for SAP including the creation and management of transport requests.
Coordinate and execute system transports between development quality and production environments.
System Monitoring and Maintenance
Set up and maintain system monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Conduct regular system health checks and implement preventive maintenance activities.
Patch Management and Upgrades
Plan and execute SAP software patches updates and version upgrades.
Stay informed about the latest SAP releases and recommend upgrades as needed.
Documentation
Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP system configurations processes and procedures.
Provide training and documentation for end-users as needed.
Collaboration and Support
Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to understand and address SAP-related requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and other IT teams.
Multinational company You will work in an office located in the center of Barcelona
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture installation and configuration.
Proficient in SAP security concepts and user administration.
Experience with SAP HANA database administration is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
SAP certification is desirable.
