Software Development Manager
BDQ (Books Data Quality) owns the accuracy of book metadata across Amazons global catalog - author attribution, series linking, categorization, publisher relationships, and entity resolution. Were replacing legacy heuristic systems with LLM-powered inference at catalog scale.

We need an SDM to lead one of our engineering teams. Youll manage the people, own the technical delivery, and drive migration off legacy systems.

Technical ownership. You own production inference systems, data pipelines, and catalog services. You make hosting decisions (Bedrock vs. SageMaker vs. self-hosted) and manage inference costs as volume grows.
