SAP Financial Reporting Data Analyst

Financial Data Governance Quality
o Ensure end to end accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation of financial data across SAP ECC/S/4HANA, Central Finance, Group Reporting, BW, and SAC.
o Maintain and govern analytical structures including mappings, derivations, hierarchies, and naming standards.
o Diagnose and resolve CO PA, allocation, or integration discrepancies across systems.
o Execute reconciliation procedures and maintain evidence for monthly and quarterly closing cycles

Analytical Model Design Allocation Management
o Maintain and evolve Puigs global analytical model (market, brand, channel, category).
o Define allocation logic, drivers, cycles, and execution sequences that support corporate reporting and performance analysis.
o Document analytical catalogs, semantic definitions, and lineage to ensure consistent analytical interpretation across the company.

Technical Governance, Change Control S/4HANA Transformationo Understand SAP table structures and cross module data flows (FI, CO, SD, MM) and assess their analytical impact.
o Request, review, and validate SAP transports including master data changes, parameterization updates, and code enhancements.
o Manage freeze windows near closing prepare release notes and documentation for Change Committee processes.
o Contribute to the S/4HANA migration: redesign allocation processes, update parameter tables, validate BADIs, and adapt the analytical model to the Universal Journal.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Act as a strategic link between Finance, Controlling, IT, Data teams, and external consultants.
o Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications validate implementations delivered by IT.
o Participate in initiatives to enhance analytical models, KPIs, reporting processes, and data flows across the organization.

Global HQ in Barcelona

Education:
o Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.

Experience:
o 3-5 years in finance/reporting roles with strong SAP technical exposure (corporate or consulting).
o Hands-on experience in CO PA (derivations/valuation), allocations, end-to-end reconciliations, and BW/SAC.

Technical Skills:
o SAP FI/CO (CO PA): derivation rules, allocation logic, and functional design.
o SAP BW/SAC: semantic modeling, lineage validation, reconciliation.
o Ability to read and interpret ABAP (BADIs, transformation logic).
o SAP transport management (master data, parameters, code).
o Familiarity with Central Finance, Group Reporting, Universal Journal, and S/4HANA migration concepts.

Soft Skills:
o Critical thinking and ability to solve complex technical-financial problems.
o Communication with both technical and business teams hands-on mindset.
o Strong commitment to data accuracy and closing discipline.

Languages:
o Fluent English and Spanish

Fixed salary

Flexible hours: 7:30-9:30 am, leaving depending on the start time. // On Fridays, you can leave at midday.

Home office 2 days a week (1 of them on Friday)
