.NET Core Developer - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid
The opportunity

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, youll have a chance to extend your knowledge experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. Your key responsibilities
As a .NET Core Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications using the latest .NET technologies, while collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET Core and Entity Framework.
- Build secure and efficient web services using WCF and/or legacy ASMX technologies.
- Design and maintain interactive, component-based UIs with Blazor
- Write efficient database queries and manage data using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and support.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, debugging, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, testers, and project managers.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.

- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and the .NET Framework.
- Proficiency in working with Entity Framework for database operations.
- Familiarity with WCF and ASMX services for system integration.
- Experience building user interfaces with Blazor or interest in modern .NET front-end development.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code following SOLID principles.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in agile development environments.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience with Entity Framework, web services (WCF/ASMX), and relational databases.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
Ideally, youll also have
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in international environments.
