Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Hybrid Onsite at Client Offices in Canillejas (Madrid)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in SDWAN, SASE, cloud networking, and
security to support and evolve a global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong
technical knowledge, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within
international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and operate global network infrastructure projects, including WAN, LAN,
WLAN, and cloud networks.
Provision and support network services across cloud environments such as Azure (essential), GCP,
and AWS (desirable).
Configure and maintain routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, Cisco-Meraki).
Manage firewalls and VPNs (Palo Alto, Fortinet SDWAN, Netskope).
Oversee VoIP and videoconferencing solutions (Poly, Webex cloud).
Support DDI services (Infoblox, Cisco Umbrella, Windows DNS/DHCP).
Perform network monitoring and analysis using tools like SolarWinds.
Ensure compliance with security standards such as IPSEC, PKI, TLS, and frameworks like PCI-
DSS, ISO27001, NIST-CSF, and GDPR.
Maintain and automate network documentation and knowledge base.
Provide operational support, troubleshoot critical issues, and ensure 24/7 business continuity.
Represent the network function in local and international IT projects.
Participate in network architecture sessions and drive innovation.
Required Skills Experience:
Proven experience with SDWAN, SASE models, and cloud networking (especially Azure).
In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols (BGP).
Familiarity with:
o Cisco-Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet
o Netskope BWAN and NPA (desired)
o VoIP/videoconferencing systems
o Monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and network traffic analysis
Secure network design with TLS, PKI, IPSEC.
Framework knowledge of PCI-DSS, NIST-CSF, ISO27001, and GDPR.
Proficiency with Wireshark, PowerShell, and CLI tools.
Qualifications Certifications:
Higher Technical Education in IT or related fields.
Active Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification.
Azure AZ-700 and/or certifications in GCP/AWS networking.
Certifications in Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Infoblox, or equivalent knowledge.
Additional certifications in DDI technologies and monitoring tools are a plus.
Personal Attributes:
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Proactive, responsible, self-directed, and open-minded.
Willingness to occasionally perform changes or support activities outside business hours.
Ability to work under pressure in international settings.
Team-oriented with collaborative spirit.
