Senior Markit EDM Developer

What we look for?
We are looking for Senior Markit EDM Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Markit EDM solutions across Market Reference Data domains. The role requires strong hands-on development skills, deep understanding of EDM data models, integration patterns, and close collaboration with Business Analysts and downstream consumers.
Mandatory requirements:
Markit EDM Development
- Design, develop, and enhance Markit EDM workflows, rules, jobs, and data models
- Configure and customize EDM components such as:
- Security Master
- Pricing Benchmark data
- Reference Data / Classification
- External Matchers
- Implement data quality rules, validations, enrichment, and exception handling
Data Integration Feeds
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound feeds using:
- XML, CSV, FIX, API-based integrations
- Integrate EDM with upstream/downstream systems (IBOR, Risk, Valuation, Reporting platforms)
- Handle vendor feeds (market data, pricing vendors, benchmark providers)
Production Support BAU
- Perform BAU support, incident analysis, and root cause resolution
- Support release deployments, regression testing, and post-production validation
- Handle data issues, reconciliation breaks, and SLA-bound fixes
Collaboration Governance
- Work closely with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in impact analysis, design reviews, and change assessments
- Contribute to documentation (technical design, runbooks, support guides)
Mentoring / Lead Support
- Guide junior developers and reviewers
