WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
We are an alternative fund manager with an innovative mindset, where technology is a key lever for efficiency, security, and scalability. We want to add to the team a role that will help us automate and improve information management and access.
As IT Product Specialist, you will join SAMs global Technology team, within the Alternative Products area, with the aim of leading and accelerating the technological transformation necessary to achieve the businesss strategic objectives.
You will be the functional and technical owner of the eFront platform, supporting the full lifecycle of alternative investment products from a systems and data perspective. Youll work closely with business units and IT stakeholders to ensure that the platform is aligned with the firms operational and strategic needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering and configuring eFront modules to support fund operations, investor reporting, and portfolio management.
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
- Coordinating with vendors, internal developers, and infrastructure teams for system enhancements and issue resolution.
- Supporting periodic audits, access controls, and security reviews aligned with IT governance.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on the intersection of alternative funds and technology solutions.
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience working with eFront (FrontInvest or related modules) from an IT or systems integration perspective.
- Background in managing technology platforms
- Proven experience in the banking sector (IT consulting, fund managers, financial entities...).
EDUCATION
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
- Familiarity or coursework in finance, investment management, or alternative assets is highly desirable.
- Certifications like ITIL, PMP, or cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
SKILLS KNOWLEDG
- Fluent English for meetings.
- Ability to communicate fluently with both technical profiles and business stakeholders.
- High analytical and conceptualization skills to design process proposals and manage their implementation.
- Proactivity, autonomy in work, and a results-oriented problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work in an agile format, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and propose innovative Strong working knowledge of eFront configuration, workflows, and data model.
- Understanding of fund structures, investor hierarchies, NAV calculation, and reporting in private markets.
- Proficiency in SQL, and experience working with data platforms, ETL tools or scripting languages.
- Familiarity with SSO, RBAC, and general IT security practices.
- Good judgment, common sense, and resilience to controlled chaos
