AI Solution Engineer
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of professional software development experience. (Note: Specific years depend on final leveling)
Proficiency in Python programming, including experience with common libraries and frameworks used in developing web services, data processing applications, or system integrations.
1-2 years of hands-on experience working directly with AI/ML models and services through APIs, SDKs, or managed platforms (e.g., integrating REST APIs for language or vision models, utilizing cloud AI platform services for tasks like translation or recommendations).
Experience developing and deploying applications on a major cloud platform (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
Experience interacting directly with technical customers or stakeholders to gather requirements, present technical solutions, or provide support.

As an AI Solutions Engineer, you ll work directly with customers to turn their business challenges into impactful AI-driven solutions using existing models, APIs, and cloud tools. Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business objectives and technical requirements, identifying opportunities to apply existing AI models and APIs effectively.
Design, develop, and implement practical AI-powered solutions for diverse customer use cases by AI services (e.g., Google Vertex AI, ChatGPT, Generative AI APIs) and other third-party services.
Build proof-of-concept (POCs) and prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility, features, and business value of proposed AI solutions.
Serve as a technical advisor, guiding customers on best practices for leveraging an AI portfolio, including appropriate model selection, effective API usage patterns, and robust integration strategies into their existing environments.1
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to the implementation, performance tuning, scaling, and operationalization of AI applications.
Develop technical documentation, tutorials, code samples, and reusable reference architectures or templates to accelerate customer adoption, share best practices, and enable internal teams.
Stay abreast of the latest AI offerings, platform updates, and broader industry trends in applied AI, sharing relevant knowledge with customers and internal stakeholders.
