Brings pre PMF startup experience, comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast changing priorities.
Still writes code or has recently done so, able to review, debug, and contribute meaningfully in a hands on environment.
Has hired engineers before and can build an early engineering team with high standards, culture, and rituals.
Possesses strong technical depth in AI/ML systems, agents, context modeling, or adjacent domains.
Demonstrates a builder mentality, with a bias toward shipping and making decisions decisively.
Shows strategic clarity, understanding that technical decisions are business decisions with long term impact.
Operates with high ownership, taking responsibility when things break and acting without external pressure.
Exhibits intellectual honesty, able to say I dont know, change direction with evidence, and challenge leadership constructively.
Is based in Barcelona or willing to relocate, ensuring physical presence with the founding team.
