Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. Responsibilities
What you will do
- Support day to day management of fleet of databases and respond to incidents and alarms.
- Identify and develop automation to aid in DBA manual tasks.
- Will look for efficiencies to improve quality and opportunities to advance the team capability through automation and education.
- On-Call Duties: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and ensure operational excellence around the clock.
Required Experience
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience
+5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
Knowledge of Linux and best practices for change management and escalation procedures
Fluent in English
