Business Analyst
Their ability to understand the business, manage requirements, and collaborate with the development team is essential to delivering technological solutions that generate business value.
They must act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. This includes understanding requirements, proposing alternative paths to complex specifications, and, finally, knowing how to convey specifications to the technical development teams in a sufficiently structured and detailed manner to make it easier and more accurate for them to build data models and the software that will manage them.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Understanding:
Understand business objectives, processes, and goals.
Risk assessment of clients, portfolios, and operations.
Basic concepts of financial analysis based on financial statements.
Key aspects of banking regulation.
Identify opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
Requirements Management:
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document business requirements.

Prioritize requirements based on business value and technical feasibility.
Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories.
Collaboration with the Development Team:
Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and correctly implemented.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as planning meetings, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
Provide continuous feedback to the development team.
Data Analysis:
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Use data to support decision-making and measure the impact of implemented solutions.
Demand management mechanisms. Differentiate software issues from new requirements.
Effective Communication:
Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders and the development team.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams.
Be able to translate:
The most technical information from all participants into a language that business stakeholders can understand.
Vice versa: Translate business processes and concepts into understandable and developable terms.
Software Certification and Integrated Testing
Design the test plan for the use cases determined necessary for each user story. Both in isolation and in integration with other application modules.
Execute tests, record evidence, and design possible automation when deemed necessary. It would be ideal if you had knowledge of the SCIB Testing Framework or equivalent.
The framework used in SCIB is essentially composed of:
TalosBDD / Selenium
Python (for consistency testing and complex automation)
PyCharm IDE
Spanish and English level B2
Essential Skills:
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and propose solutions.
Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with different audiences.
Collaboration skills: Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different people.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and key tools: Familiarity with the principles and practices of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and the most commonly used tools for requirements specification and organized documentation maintenance (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Business knowledge: Understanding of the business and its objectives. Mainly risk assessment methodologies applied to clients, groups, portfolios, and operations.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to effectively resolve complex problems.over Agile methodologies

Processes automation/ programming languages (Python, Nodejs, Java)
Experience carrying-out version upgrades
