Cybersecurity Engineer

As part of our expanding IT security team, we seek a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to enhance vulnerability management, security operations, and automation. Join us in protecting critical energy infrastructure!
What you will do:
- Perform vulnerability management using Qualys, ensuring risk prioritization and remediation.
- Conduct penetration testing with Pentera to assess security controls.
- Develop security automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for efficiency.
- Integrate security tools (Qualys, Pentera, SIEM, SOAR) through APIs and automation.
- Collaborate with IT, Cloud, and Security teams to enhance security posture.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats using SIEM, EDR, and SOAR.
What you bring who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Vulnerability Management, or Penetration Testing.
- Expertise in Qualys, security testing, and automation scripting.
- Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT CK).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate security risks effectively.
- Proactive and team-oriented mindset to drive security improvements.
