Job Title: Java Developer ActiveViam / OLAP Cube
Location: Madrid, Spain (Remote with occasional onsite presence)
Description:
Worked as a Java Developer in a data-intensive environment leveraging OLAP cube technology. The role
required hands-on development using Java and ActiveViam, along with scripting and data manipulation
using Unix Shell and Python. Collaborated with stakeholders to implement and maintain risk and analytics
solutions within a structured technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using Java
Work with OLAP cube technologies and ActiveViam for multidimensional data analysis
Write and optimize Unix Shell scripts and Python programs for automation and data processing
Contribute to the design and execution of solutions in market risk contexts
Participate in technical assessments and client interviews as part of the development process
Technologies Used:
Core: Java, ActiveViam, OLAP Cube
Supporting: Unix Shell, Python
Preferred: Experience in market risk systems
Requirements:
3 5 years of experience in Java development
Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and OLAP technologies
Proficient in Unix Shell scripting and Python
Comfortable working remotely with occasional onsite requirements
Fluent in English (minimum B2 level)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
