Senior Data Engineer

What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a strategic project with one of our global clients in the wealth management sector. You will be part of a high-performing team made up of top-tier professionals, collaborating closely with both IT and business stakeholders to deliver impactful and scalable solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging, high-visibility projects in an international environment, while further developing your expertise within a leading organization in the financial domain.
About the role:
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including complex query development, performance tuning, and optimization
- Solid experience working with and extending established data models (Data Vault, dimensional modeling, SCD, 3NF)
- Strong hands-on experience building scalable, SQL-driven data transformationsPython knowledge is a strong plus, particularly for automation, API integrations, and workflow optimization
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools is highly desirable
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments is a strong advantage
Nice to have
- Experience with Temenos T24/Transact, Temenos Triple A, or similar core banking platforms
Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.
