ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College, The British School of Murcia, one of the most sought-after British Schools in Spain, is seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive School Administrator Officer with fluent English to join the school team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Murcia, initially offered on a temporary basis due to organisational needs, with the potential to become permanent.
This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the smooth running of administrative operations across the school, working closely with the Headteacher and other key departments such as HR, Finance, and Admissions. This is a full-time position based on-site in Murcia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and streamline the school’s administrative operations, ensuring efficiency across departments.
• Supervise the admin team and act as the main liaison with HR, Finance, Admissions, and Maintenance.
• Manage staff documentation, contracts, and compliance with safeguarding (e.g., SCR).
• Support the organisation of school events, transport coordination, training bookings, and materials procurement.
• Cover key administrative tasks during absences and support with translations when needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• Degree in Business Administration, Education, or similar; Master’s preferred.
• Solid experience in school or business administration with leadership responsibility.
• Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative tools.
• Fluent Spanish and English
• Familiarity with HR processes and Spanish education/labour regulations is a plus.
• Commitment to excellence, teamwork, and safeguarding practices.
