IT Application Specialist (Finance)
Manage, maintain and support financial (Payments) applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Monitor and troubleshoot application issues, ensuring timely resolution and keeping the applications up-to-date regarding security updates and patches.
Support the integration of financial systems with other business tools.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards in all application processes.
Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
Document system changes, configurations, and processes effectively.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve technology solutions within the organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
Permanent contract in final client of the Finance industry.
Centrally located offices in Madrid with a hybrid working model.
A successful IT Application Specialist (Finance) should have:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience of 3-6 years working in IT support of applications and systems. Experience in payments applications such as SEPA or Swift will be a huge plus.
Technical knowledge of basic scripting, server administration and databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) to be able to understand the business processes from a technical point of view.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in system integration and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Bilingual level of English, being the vehicular language in the company.
