QA Automation Engineer Temenos

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to strengthen the QA team working on core banking systems based on Temenos T24/Transact, with a strong focus on automation and quality in agile environments.

- Direct Placement
- Work Location: 3 days a week at the clients Office in Madrid (Metro Sol). 2 days remote
- Duration: Permanent
- English level: C1
- Interview language: English
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (BDD) for Temenos T24/Transact
- Develop and execute end-to-end automated regression tests across core banking domains (accounts, payments, securities)
- Automate test scenarios involving T24 screens, workflows, versioning, and transactions
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Test management, traceability, and reporting using Jira / Xray
- Support Temenos T24 release upgrades (e.g. R26) and ensure long-term regression stability
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin (BDD)
- Advanced Java skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience in the banking domain
- Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 / Transact (strongly preferred)
- Experience automating end-to-end scenarios across integrated banking systems
- ISTQB Foundation certification
- Fluent English (C1 level)
Nice to Have
- Selenium Grid experience
- Selenium certification
- Experience supporting core banking upgrades or migrations
